OHS Canada Honours is back!
There is no more important job in any organization than ensuring your staff make it home safe at the end of every day. We want to acknowledge the best and brightest in the field.
Nominations are now open for the 2025 OHS Canada Honours. The deadline to apply is Sunday June 8 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Full details on categories and criteria are listed below.
Individual awards
Launched in 2021, OHS Canada Honours recognizes the achievements of Canadian OHS professionals in numerous categories, including:
- OHS Professional of the Year
- Community Leader Award
- OHS Rising Star Award
- OHS Lawyer of the Year
- OHS Educator of the Year
- CEO of the Year
- Hall of Fame (up to three inductees will be announced in 2025)
- Top 25 Under 40
Strong work ethic, leadership by example and dedication to health and safety will all be acknowledged.

These awards will honour the best in class in the following categories:

- Best Safety Communications Program
- Best Use of Safety Technology
- OHS Team of the Year
- Best Hand Protection Program
- Contractor Safety Management Award
- Psychologically Safe Workplace Award
- Holistic Employee Health Award
- Best Ergonomics Program
- Best Hearing Protection Program – New for 2025!
- Best Head Protection Program – New for 2025!

- Best Cold Protection Program – New for 2025!
Who can be nominated?
Individual awardsAnyone in an occupational health and safety position with a Canadian organization who fits the criteria for the individual awards.
