Guardian’s B7-Comfort Harness wins 2023 pro tool innovation award for safety and fall protection

Global height safety firm Guardian has been awarded the 2023 Pro Tool Innovation Award (PTIA) in the Safety—Tethering and Fall Protection category for its B7-Comfort Harness. The PTIA, now in its eleventh year, aims to identify and honor groundbreaking tools, accessories, and products across various industries.
According to the PTIA judges, the B7-Comfort Harness addresses a common issue in fall protection—discomfort from wearing a harness. The harness goes beyond merely adding padding; it incorporates a unique blend of adjustability and freedom of movement. “It’s more than just adding padding though, it’s a combination of that plus adjustability and movement that not only makes the harness comfortable to wear, but also ensures that you’re able to maintain mobility, so your entire body remains comfortable while you work. When you’re more comfortable, you’re more productive, and that’s worth its weight in gold,” the judges said.
The B7-Comfort Harness is equipped with a range of patented and patent-pending features designed to improve both safety and convenience. Among these are the DiaLock Adjusters, the Three-Six-O Harness Chassis, and the industry’s first-ever adjustable padding set—particularly an adjustable waist pad—that is part of the Adjustable Tool Bag Attachment System.
