SPRUCE GROVE, Alta. – For the fourth time in just over a week, a person has been killed in a workplace-related accident in Alberta.

The provincial Occupational Health and Safety department says the latest death occurred Monday when a 57-year-old man was fatally injured at a recreational vehicle dealership in Spruce Grove, just west of Edmonton.

The department says the accident involved a fifth-wheel trailer being towed by a tractor at Grove RV and Leisure Inc.

OHS has issued a stop-use order for the equipment involved until it’s repaired.

A stop-work order has also been issued for all powered mobile equipment on the site until the company proves it was being used for its designed purpose.
