French Version of Popular Crane Safety Program Just Released
By Electrolab
FEB. 2015, BELLEVILLE, Ont. – Overhead cranes are utilized in many industries because of their ability to lift and move heavy objects. But it also takes a skilled worker to operate them safely and effectively.
Safe Use & Operation of Industrial Cranes was developed to help educate employees in safe crane operation. Cranes come in a wide variety of sizes, configurations and capacities to lift and transport various products and materials used in industry. Because of the serious hazards presented by crane operation, crane operators must be fully qualified and 100-percent committed to the safe operation of their crane. That is the purpose of this program—to review the safety rules, precautions and safe operating practices common to all cranes in order to help crane operators work safely with the specific cranes they operate.
This program from ERI Safety Videos is available in both French and English versions and is also available in DVD and streaming media formats. Additional information and a free preview is available by calling Electrolab Training Systems at 1-800-267-7482 or emailing safety@electrolab.ca.
