DEB Group Ltd. sued GOJO Industries, Inc. and Airspray International, Inc. in the United States District Court for infringement of United States Patent Nos. 5,445,288 and 6,082,586.

The case has been pending for several years, and has recently been resolved by agreement of the parties. “We are pleased to come to an agreement with GOJO that brings an end to the litigation and by which GOJO has accepted a license under DEB Group’s U.S. Patent Nos. 5,445,288 and 6,082,586,” said DEB Group CEO Bryan Anderson.

DEB Group is a leading away-from-home skincare systems company, operating with 21 subsidiaries in 16 countries. DEB Group develops its own proprietary skincare systems, including dispensers, refill cartridges and skincare formulations.

In 1998 DEB Group launched the first sealed cartridge, inverted, foam soap dispensing system, which has become the industry standard and has led to the widespread commercialization of foam soap in the US skincare market.
