CALGARY, ALBERTA, July 25, 2005 — In July 2005, Calgary-based Danatec Educational Services Ltd. marks 20 years of providing Workplace Health and Safety Compliance Solutions to clients across Canada.

Danatec started out as a small three-person operation and has grown to a national organization with branch offices in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax. Two years ago, Danatecs owner Ron Martin bought a spacious new building and moved the company into state-of-the-art production and distribution facilities in southeast Calgary.

Martin says, Were at an exciting stage in our growth right now. While Danatecs print publications continue to do well, our online training is taking off in a big way.

Danatecs first books, published in June 1985, were created under contract to Transport Canada. The Transportation of Dangerous Goods Instructors Manual and corresponding TDG Handbook have been updated many times and set the benchmark for Dangerous Goods training across Canada. Danatec was also the first company in Canada to publish a consolidated version of the Federal Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations with update service. Twenty years later Danatec publishes a wide variety of books, posters, Self-Teach programs, videos and DVDs for TDG, WHMIS, Confined Space and related Health and Safety training.

Danatec proudly states that they will Answer any Dangerous Goods, WHMIS or Compliance question for its over 17,000 clients across Canada. Many of Danatecs coast-to-coast network of agents have been with the company for over 15 years and have proven safety-consulting experience. Martin says, Call any one of our agents and not only can you order training materials but they will answer your toughest questions as well.

The companys online division, Danatec Interactive Inc., develops computer-based training programs and software solutions for workplace compliance. Barclay Hunter, Vice President, Says, We have been developing online solutions for some of Canadas largest organizations for over nine years. Our wealth of knowledge and experience allows us to deliver health and safety programs that are truly user friendly and cost effective. In addition to TDG and WHMIS online training Danatec offers Ground Disturbance, MSDS Management, Workplace Hazard Assessment, Spill Response, Fire Extinguisher and an extensive list of Fire and Emergency Services programs such as Incident Command, Aerial Ladder and Pumper Truck training. Any of our programs can be fully customized to address the specific training requirements of our clients. Danatecs flagship online program TDG Manager took over 3 years to develop says Hunter. Following on the success of this program Danatec now offers a full suite of products that will help organizations meet the federal requirements for Bill C45. These new programs represent significant growth opportunities for Danatec and are keeping our development team very busy explains Hunter.

Ron Martin and Barclay Hunter are proud of what Danatec has accomplished so far Were fortunate to have a knowledgeable, hard-working team of employees and agents who know the business and care about our customers. Their enthusiasm and commitment will propel Danatec even further along the leading edge of our industry.
