Police, ministry investigate after fatal industrial accident in Caledon

CALEDON, Ont. – Provincial police say they’re investigating after a man died in what they describe as an industrial accident in Caledon, Ont.

Police provided no details about the incident, which they say took place on Monday afternoon at a road construction site.

They say officers called to the scene found an unconscious man with serious injuries, who was rushed to hospital and later pronounced dead.

Police have identified the man as 33-year-old Jacob Lein of Melancthon, Ont.

Both police and the provincial Ministry of Labour are conducting investigations into the incident.
