MISSION, B.C. – Emergency Health Services says four students were taken to hospital following a school bus crash in Mission, B.C.

Spokeswoman Shannon Miller says emergency responders received a report of the crash at about 3:15 p.m.

She says 14 students were on the bus and four were treated at the scene, then transported to hospital in stable condition.

Five paramedic units responded to the collision, which occurred in a rural area of the Fraser Valley municipality on Stave Lake Road.

RCMP Staff Sgt. Steve Crawford says the school bus, which was carrying students from the Khalsa Centre, left the road and went into the ditch.
