As a client who has completed Canadian Laser Safety’s Industrial LSO Training, we recognize that training is most effective when two criteria are met:
- RELEVANCE: The skills and knowledge from the training must be relevant to the participant, their manager, and the company.
- REINFORCEMENT: Follow-up, coaching, and accountability account for a 3 to 1 improvement in successfully completing a Laser Safety Plan (LSP) for your organization.
The relevance criteria has been achieved and hopefully you have successfully created an LSP. If you have not, CLS has now created a reinforcement Post-Training Support Program to assist you in achieving this goal.
The 3-month Post-Training Support Program is intended to reinforce what you learned in the training and to help you successfully implement a comprehensive LSP for your organization. Below is an overview of the Program Schedule:

- Understand applicable laws, regulations for workplace laser safety and the role of the ANSI Z136.5 series for compliance
