Boy dies after being struck by tractor on Hutterite colony in eastern Alberta

DRUMHELLER, Alta. – A nine-year-old boy is dead following a farm accident in southeastern Alberta.

First responders were called Monday to the Wintering Hills Hutterite Colony, near Hussar.

RCMP say the boy was struck by a tractor. EMS treated the boy at the scene, but did not transfer him to hospital.

The victim’s name has not been released.

RCMP say there is no criminal investigation.
