On a beautiful Friday, June 11th, 2004, Tenaquip – one of Canadas largest industrial equipment and supplies distributors – held their unique Tent Event at their Mississauga warehouse. Called The Power of One Source, this event confirms Tenaquips position as one of the most innovative and rapidly growing single source suppliers to the industrial supply chain. The Tent Event was first introduced in 2001 at the Montreal head office – which this year saw over 50 vendors display their wares to some 580 prime buying prospects. Free purchasing and spill control seminars were highlights of the events. Toronto and Montreal events also raised over $5000 for The United Way via vendor supplied silent auctions. Along with some fantastic networking opportunities, all guests enjoyed a barbequed lunch on Tenaquip.

President and founder Ken Reed said, We are truly excited about the success of our first Toronto Tent Event. Id personally like to thank the twenty-eight suppliers and 427 visitors for spending a little time with us.
Next year, well be even bigger and better.

One of the things that make the Tenaquip Tent Event truly unique is the company wide commitment from Tenaquips management and staff. This is a company that is totally involved in servicing their customers.
So you are just as likely seeing a senior manager directing traffic, as you are a person from the shop floor flipping burgers.

If you missed it this year, plan to be at the Tenaquip Tent Event in June 2005. You wont be disappointed.

Tenaquip was founded in 1968 by Ken Reed. The company employs over 260 people, operating out of more than 250,000 square feet of offices, warehouses and showrooms in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Kingston, Cornwall, Belleville, Brantford and Cambridge, and distributes over 110,000 brand name products.
