Predictive Solutions to Participate in Webinar on the Use of Predictive Analytics to Prevent Workplace Injuries

PITTSBURGH, PA, USA – 30 Jan 2013 – Griffin Schultz, general manager at Predictive Solutions Corporation, and Raghu Arunachalam, Ph.D., global director of multi-gas solutions at Industrial Scientific Corporation, will present a webinar on Wednesday, January 30 at 1 p.m. EST entitled “How to Predict and Prevent Workplace Injuries: The Past, Present, and Future.”

The webinar, hosted by Safety+Health magazine, will review how companies are using advanced analytics on their safety data to predict and prevent workplace injuries. Griffin and Raghu will discuss how research has led to the design and testing of safety prediction models and how the most recently produced predictive model has been used to predict and prevent injuries in the last year. Finally, they will share their opinions on the future of injury prediction and prevention in the workplace within the next three to five years.

Griffin is responsible for all aspects of Predictive Solutions’ business – a fully owned subsidiary of Industrial Scientific. Prior to joining Predictive Solutions, Griffin held various positions at several technology companies and has extensive experience applying technology solutions to business functions. 

In addition to Raghu’s role at Industrial Scientific in which he holds responsibility for developing the company’s multi-gas solutions business, he serves as a thought leader in predictive analytics at Predictive Solutions. He has led the development of a number of predictive models that predict risk and provide valuable insight into safety behavior in the workplace.
