Woman, man charged after Halifax parking enforcement worker attacked

HALIFAX – A woman and man are facing multiple charges after allegedly attacking a Halifax parking enforcement worker with a tire iron and pipe.

Police say the worker was called to a parkade on South Park Street to remove a boot device from a car Monday around 5:20 p-m.

When he arrived, a 27-year-old woman came after him with a tire iron, and a 31-year-old man attacked him with a pipe.

Police say the victim was able to block most of the blows and was not seriously injured.

The woman is facing charges including assault with a weapon and damage to property, while the man has been charged with assault with a weapon.
