Winnipeg police have charged a man who worked at a care home with sexual assaulting a senior.
Police have not identified the suspect but say he has been released from custody on a promise to appear in court.
The senior was allegedly assaulted in November at Extendicare Oakview Place.
Extendicare says the employee no long works at the facility.
It says the company contacted police immediately after finding out what happened.
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority refers patients to Extendicare and says it is extremely troubled about the allegations.
