Rope grabs are one of the most commonly used fall protection devices when working at heights. Misconceptions about the use of rope grabs often lead to improper selection and deployment on job sites, and sometimes these applications contradict both the CSA Standard and manufacturer’s instructions for use.
This webinar will teach participants about the proper use of rope grabs for fall arrest and travel restraint and will address common misconceptions regarding appropriate lanyard length, lifeline use and rope grab safety. Participants will learn about lifeline deployment and selection, in addition to the most important changes in the new CSA Standard Z259.12-16 Connecting components for PFAS.
