
TSB investigates after CP Rail freight train derails west of Winnipeg

ROSSER, Man. – A Canadian Pacific Railway freight train has derailed west if Winnipeg, apparently during a thunderstorm.
The company says 13 train cars went off the tracks around 6 p.m. Tuesday near Rosser.
CP Rail says no one was injured and there were no environmental concerns. RCMP couldn’t say what caused the derailment, but noted a strong thunderstorm blew through the area at the time.
The Transportation Safety Board is investigating
