The ALERT headset has an NRR 25 dB (tested in an accredited NVLAP laboratory) and the AM/FM radio output is limited to 82 dBA eq. The Alert headset can be accessorized with patch cords for both monitoring and 2-way communication with most commercial 2-way radios.
