Montreal QC January 2007 North Safety Products has announced a marketing cooperation agreement with International Safety Instruments (ISI) of Lawrenceville, GA to market and promote self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), pressure demand supplied air respirators and emergency escape breathing apparatus (EEBA) manufactured by ISI in the USA and marketed under the North brand into the industrial marketplace.
North Safety Products will initially introduce a new line of economically priced North Frontier SCBAs, combining ISI SCBA technology with the popular line of North industrial full facepieces. This will be quickly followed with a broader offering of North Frontier industrial SCBAs and an integration of the patented ISI Compact Demand Valve (CDV) and EEBA technology into the North industrial supplied air respiratory product line.

This partnership allows North Safety Products to bring a new competitive pressure demand respiratory technology to our industrial customers building on the strength of our market leading air-purifying facepiece line, said John Greer, Vice President of Marketing for North Safety Products.
North Safety Products strength and focus in the industrial marketplace is a perfect compliment to the ISI focus in the municipal fire service market, said Gavin McLachlan, Director of Sales and Marketing at ISI. The combined volumes and market penetration will benefit both North and ISI and will help to keep our costs competitive. Greer added, Its a natural partnership.
