Smithfield, R.I. (September 8, 2003) The new line of lightweight Titan-by-Miller Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRL) includes five (5) models that are user-friendly and competitively priced.

Designed for safety and durability, four (4) new Titan SRL models feature galvanized wire rope lifelines, corrosion-resistant stainless steel frames and durable, high-impact, glass-filled polypropylene plastic covers. Available in 20-, 30-, 50- and 65-foot lengths, Titan SRLs are ideal for use in a variety of applications.

Also, the familiar 20-foot Titan SRL features a web lifeline with corrosion-resistant, stainless steel and aluminum components for longer service life.

All Titan SRLs contain a quick-activating braking system to arrest free falls within 2 feet. The self-locking snap hook with integral swivel allows for greater maneuverability and prevents the lifeline from twisting and tangling. Titan SRLs are designed with a narrow payout port to prevent debris from entering the unit and limiting performance.

The new line of Titan SRLs require no annual factory recertification and have a visual load indicator that, when activated, denotes the unit must be taken out of service. Titan SRLs meet all applicable standards, including OSHA 1926.502, ANSI Z359.1 and CSA Z259.2.2-98.
