PITTSBURGH, PA, USA – Industrial Scientific is pleased to announce the release of a new three-minute movie describing iNet(tm), the world’s first complete gas monitor maintenance program. The movie can be viewed on the company’s Web site at http://www.indsci.com/inet/inet_web.html.

“We’re thrilled that iNet has become the topic of conversation at most of our major U.S. customers,” said Kevin Miller, Director of Sales for Industrial Scientific Americas.

“For those who are unfamiliar with iNet, this movie is a great introduction. It clearly describes how iNet keeps gas detectors in top working order while reducing the costs of owning and maintaining them.”

Pressure to increase cost savings and productivity often leaves safety professionals with fewer resources to meet the growing demands of regulatory compliance. The iNet movie shows how Industrial Scientific’s innovative group of services can eliminate the responsibility and minimize the costs of managing a gas monitor fleet.

iNet continuously checks the condition of all equipment and sends regular e-mail reports on the status of the instrument fleet. All maintenance and service is automated from initiating a function test or calibration to dispatching service technicians, instruments or replacement parts.

When gas detection equipment is monitored and serviced by Industrial Scientific, a customer can focus more resources toward their core business. With iNet, there is less instrument downtime, enhanced worker safety and decreased liabilities.
