Howard Leight By Sperian To Feature Innovative Hearing Protectors At National Safety Council Congress 2007 In Chicago

Smithfield, RI — In its first major U.S. trade show outing since officially changing its name to Sperian Hearing Protection from the Bacou-Dalloz Hearing Safety Group, Howard Leight by Sperian will feature several new earplug and earmuff products at the National Safety Council 2007 Congress & Expo, October 15-17, at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. The company will occupy Booth #604.
Featured products will include new Clarity multiple-use earplugs and Thunder T2HV Hi-Visibility earmuffs from Howard Leight, along with a variety of new Howard Leight earmuff accessories, including a new Polar Hood and the Slim Belt Clip.
Harnessing Bilsom Technology’s patented Sound Management Technology (SMT), the Howard Leight Clarity earplug improves worker safety and communication by blocking hazardous noise while allowing voice and signal frequencies to be heard more naturally.
The Clarity earplug delivers uniform attenuation that blocks low and medium frequency noise while enhancing the perception of higher voice and warning signal frequencies without distortion. Clarity’s low NRR of 21 dB provides ideal attenuation for workers exposed to low levels of hazardous noise, and minimizes the risk of overprotection in marginal noise environments.
When jobsites are outdoors at night or in inclement weather or anywhere in low light conditions, workers are exposed to increased safety hazards in addition to noise.
