EXAIR’s new 1000 Btu/hr. Cabinet Cooler is a low cost way to eliminate electronic control downtime that can result from high temperatures, dirt and moisture. This compact air conditioner has the ideal cooling capacity to stabilize the temperature inside medium sized enclosures.

This 1000 Btu/hr. Cabinet Cooler uses a vortex tube to cool an ordinary supply of compressed air to 20F. A cold air distribution kit circulates the air through the enclosure while providing a constant purge to keep the panel free of dust and contaminants. Compressed air use is only 15 SCFM which is half that of ordinary Cabinet Coolers. Systems include thermostat control to further minimize air usage, and a compressed air filter to keep the air clean and dry.

The 1000 Btu/hr. Cabinet Cooler installs in minutes through a standard electrical knock-out and is UL Listed to ensure the NEMA 12, 4, or 4X (stainless steel) rating of the enclosure is maintained. Operation is quiet at 75 dBA and there are no moving parts to wear out. Other Cabinet Coolers with capacities up to 2800 Btu/hr. are available. Applications include cooling computer cabinets, CNC panels, camera and laser housings, relay panels and motor control centers.
