For the past three years, Air Systems International has had a major OEM agreement with E.D. Bullard Company to private label breathing air products under the Bullard label. Effective January 1, 2002, under the terms of a new Exclusive Marketing Agreement, the Bullard sales force will be managing the worldwide sales, marketing and factory representation program for the entire Air Systems brand product line.
With this alignment, Bullards branded breathing air filtration and air management systems will be replaced by the standard orange Air Systems labeled products. Bullards Regional Sales Managers will provide the professional sales support and respiratory protection expertise to aid customers in the selection and application of these products in addition to Bullards market-leading supplied air respiratory protection products.
Air Systems will continue to publish their complete catalog of products. Air Systems will receive and handle technical sales calls and maintain responsibility for product engineering and design, field training and technical set-up for engineered products, and equipment repairs for Air Systems products.
Bullard President and CEO Richard C. Miller commented on the positive effects of this arrangement between these two leaders in airline respiratory protection. “This new strategic alliance has been designed to provide the market place with a single source for industry-leading supplied air respiratory and allied breathing air products”, Miller said.
