EXAIR’s new 2″ Super Air Nozzle is a unique flat air nozzle that uses EXAIR’s patented technology to maximize entrained airflow and force while reducing compressed air use and noise. The flat 2″ wide airstream is ideally suited for blowoff, cooling and drying applications.

The 2″ Super Air Nozzle has a .015″ air gap opening that is set with a stainless steel shim positioned between the body and removable cap. A precise amount of air is released through the thin slot, across a flat surface. The result is a wide, forceful stream of high velocity, laminar airflow. Air consumption is only 21.8 SCFM at 80 PSIG with a noise level of 77 dBA, and force of 22 ounces when mounted 12″ from the target. Force may be easily increased or decreased by installing different shim thicknesses. An optional Stay Set Flexible Hose for frequent repositioning keeps the airflow aimed at the target until physically moved.

The 2″ Super Air Nozzle has a zinc aluminum alloy construction suited for rugged industrial applications. The airflow that exits the nozzle can not be blocked and meets OSHA standards 29 CFR 1910.95(a) and 1910.242(b). Applications include parts cleaning, chip removal, part drying, part ejection, liquid blowoff and cooling hot parts. Price is $43.
