One dead in southwestern Ontario after collision between tractor, car

KINGSVILLE, Ont. (CP) — Provincial police in southwestern Ontario are investigating after a collision between a car and a farm tractor left one person dead.

Police say the incident happened Friday at 8:30 p.m. in Kingsville, Ont.

Emergency services rushed the lone occupant of the car to hospital, where police say they later died of their injuries.

Police say the tractor operator was not injured in the crash.

Investigators say they shut down a section of the road for several hours while they reconstructed the accident.
