CALGARY – Police are looking for a suspect after a gas pump at a Calgary convenience store was set on fire.

The man drove into the northeast-area business sometime after 3:00 a.m. Monday and bought a fuel container and some gasoline.

Investigators say the gas was then poured on the base of a pump and ignited with a match before the man fled.

A store employee hit an emergency shutoff button, which prevented gasoline in the underground tanks from flowing into the pump.

A fire extinguisher was used to put out the blaze.
