The Dundas, Ont.-based company uses a steel concrete mixing tank called a Planetary Concrete Mixer in the production of precast concrete products. At the end of every shift, the mixer requires cleaning, including the inside where the concrete is mixed.

Elmira Pet Products fined $112,500 after worker critically injured in fall at Ontario plant

The company pled guilty in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kitchener on Sept. 18, 2023, for violations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act that led to a worker's critical injuries.


Ontario's WSIB announces new head office location in London

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has announce the location of its new head office. It will located at 300 Tartan Drive in London, Ont., a location that currently houses 3M.
