Explosions heard in Kindersley, Sask., after fire breaks out in warehouse

KINDERSLEY, Sask. – Black smoke, intense flames and a series of explosions rocked the industrial area of Kindersley, Sask., after a warehouse fire.

Firefighters were called Tuesday afternoon to the blaze which consumed a warehouse for oil industry materials such as pipelines.

The fire department asked the public to stay away from the area, and smoke could be seen from kilometres away. There was no word on any injuries related to the fire.
