Company in Moose Jaw, Sask., fined after workers fell from roof to his death

MOOSE JAW, Sask. – A company in Moose Jaw, Sask., has been fined more than $23,000 for an accident that killed an employee.

The worker with Elite Eavestroughing fell from a house roof in June 2017 while taking measurements.

The business pleaded guilty in provincial court last week to failing to provide proper instruction, training and supervision as per Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Two other charges were withdrawn.
