60-year-old worker killed in industrial accident in Saint John

An industrial accident in southern New Brunswick has claimed the life of one man.

The Saint John Police Force says the accident at 145 Gateway Street was reported Thursday, June 30 at 1:30 p.m.

An injured 60-year-old worker was taken to hospital, where he died earlier today.

The victim was identified as Darrell Richards of Saint John.

No details were released about the incident.

Investigators have been called in from the Saint John Police Force, the province’s coroner’s office and Worksafe NB.
