How Does It Work

5 easy steps to higher learning.

  1. Log on to www.OHSCanada.com and Click the OHS Canada’s Safety Institute button.

  2. Add the course or module of your choice to the shopping cart by selecting the “add to cart” button on the right side of the course curriculum page. A window will appear on your screen to confirm your order. Click on “Close” to continue. Repeat this step to add all the courses and modules you want.

  3. Once you have added all of your courses and modules to the shopping cart click the check out button at the bottom of the course Curriculum page. Please enter all of you contact information on the billing information page.

  4. An order confirmation will be sent to you confirming your order. Then a follow-up e-mail will arrive assigning you an ID and Password within 24 regular business hours.

  5. Go to the Log-In page – Click the Login button and follow the onscreen prompts to enter your ID and password.

Additional information:

  • Email Customer inquiries to ohscanada@odysseylearn.com.

  • You will have unlimited access to course materials for review purposes.

  • Each module begins with a pre-test. You have the choice to skip the pre-test, and be presented with all the module materials, or challenge the pre-test and be presented with module materials for sections they did not pass (minimum 80% correct) on the pre-test. You can also review all materials at any time by clicking on "outline" and following instructions.

  • You will be limited to 2 attempts at a post (final) test. To pass a post-test you must get at least 80% of the answers correct.

  • On failing the first attempt at the post-test, you will be presented with course material that covers the areas of the test you have not mastered. The test will then be re-administered once the abbreviated course is completed. If there is a second failure, your module's path will be locked. If you purchased a course, you will be moved to the next module. If you only purchased the module, you will have to re-purchase that module if you wish to register credit with the OHS Canada Safety Institute.

  • Should you fail the post-test in one or more modules in a course, you will still be presented with a final exam, and you will be able to challenge the entire course. Module tests count for 30% of the course grade, and the final exam counts for 70%.

  • A final certificate (ready for printing with your name, course and date) will be presented to you if you meet the mastery level of the course (sample attached).

  • Odyssey will monitor non-use of the system and notify registrants of removal from the system before deletion.
