Smithfield, RI (May 25, 2011) – Honeywell Safety Products (HSP), a global leader in personal protective equipment (PPE), today announced it has introduced the A700 Slim eyewear for workers with small or narrow facial profiles. The A700 Slim eyewear is the latest product introduction based on the popular A700 Series family of safety eyewear.
“Capitalizing on the success of the original A700 Series, we designed the A700 Slim to provide a better fitting option for the segment of the workforce with narrow facial profiles,” said Kevin Beckerdite, product manager, HSP Americas. “And, because we design and test all of our products to the highest safety standards, safety managers can rely on the A700 Slim to provide maximum protection and style, all at an affordable price.”
The A700 Slim combines the same stylish shape and proportions as the A700, but at a 10% smaller size for a close, more comfortable fit for wearers with narrow facial profiles. As part of the A700 Series, the A700 Slim continues the tradition of delivering a cost effective safety eyewear solution that combines aggressive styling with high protection standards.
The lightweight, secure, wrap-around, 9-base lens design provides substantial coverage and a distortion-free, 180-degree field of vision. The universal nose bridge and soft sport temple tip pads ensure all-day comfort.
A700 Slim eyewear is available in six lens tints and two lens coating options to meet a variety of indoor and outdoor work applications: Clear Hardcoat; TSR® Gray Hardcoat; Amber Hardcoat; Blue Mirror Hardcoat; Indoor/ Outdoor Silver Mirror Hardcoat; Clear Fog-Ban® and TSR Gray Fog-Ban. The protective Hardcoat offers excellent scratch resistance and helps maximize the life of the eyewear. Fog-Ban anti-fog coating helps minimize fogging and keep lenses clear in extreme or humid conditions.
The entire A700 Series meets ANSI Z87+ (High Impact) and is certified to CSA Z94.3 standards and is available through most distributors. Additional information about the A700 Slim and our complete line of safety eyewear is available at: www.sperian.com
