Syntex Management Systems Launches New Offering: IMPACT SafetyPro(tm)

Delivering Key Features of Leading EH&S Enterprise Software to Market at New Price Point

Houston, TX — Syntex Management Systems, Inc. launched its newest addition to the IMPACT Enterprise(tm) Suite of Solutions, IMPACT SafetyPro(tm), at the American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Expo last week in Dallas, Texas. Through a very targeted Pilot Program, Syntex will deliver its multi-million dollar software solution, scaled, configured and packaged under the IMPACT SafetyPro brand to a target market of qualified organizations to validate price point, configuration and “fit” to these new target market spaces.

IMPACT SafetyPro leverages the most-valued features and benefits of the EH&S industry’s leading performance management system, IMPACT Safety. IMPACT Safety, the flagship product of the IMPACT Enterprise Suite of Solutions, is an advanced enterprise software solution that enables discovery and removal of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) exposures before they result in organizational loss. IMPACT Safety facilitates robust performance management of key EH&S business processes to drive performance improvement across the organization.

Implementing both site and enterprise-level solutions, companies around the globe have chosen IMPACT Safety to enable key business processes and achieve new organizational levels of accountability, accessibility, adaptability and productivity within EH&S. “As IMPACT Safety has clearly differentiated itself within the EH&S management system space as a market leader, we are extremely excited to bring the key features of the product to the market at a much lower price point. Through scaling functionality and providing limited configuration, we are able to provide a packaged product that delivers the key valued features of the IMPACT Safety product at a reduced market price, creating new opportunities for driving performance improvement within EH&S,” according to Joe Stough, President and CEO of Syntex Management Systems.

Syntex’s Pilot Program for IMPACT SafetyPro is being launched this month for benchmarking, case study development and awareness generation about this new offering. The Pilot Program will be extended to a subset of identified industry pioneers through June of 2003. Complementary to this effort is the penetration of new industry vertical segments, furthering market penetration and reach of the IMPACT product line.

“Syntex is once again fulfilling a niche in the EH&S market domain. The packaged version of IMPACT SafetyPro contains many of the same product features as its predecessor, at a lower price point to accommodate even the most modest of EH&S departmental budgets,” Stough continued.

IMPACT SafetyPro is a Web-based solution that provides facilitation of key proactive and reactive EH&S processes. Incident Management, Investigations and Corrective Action Management are key features of the solution. IMPACT SafetyPro facilitates seamless integration of all Incident, Near Miss and Investigation Tracking with critical proactive processes such as Corrective Action, Lessons Learned, and Analysis and Reporting, which is key to EH&S performance management. Ancillary product components, such as Assessments, the robust Client Server version of the Analysis Tool for Power Users, are also available for purchase.
