Newmarket — 2008 The OMEGA ll, Type 2, Class E is certified to the CSA Z94.1-05 standard.
Claudio Dente, President of Dentec states, When 65% of head injuries come from a lateral blow, the Type 2 makes a lot of sense and many of the young workers prefer to wear their hard hat backwards. The OMEGA is certified for that position as well.
The OMEGA ll is molded from high density polyethylene for maximum protection and light-weight comfort 435 grams (15.3 oz). The low profile design provides stability and there are accessory slots for a wide variety of eye, face and hearing products. In addition, the cushioned brow pad is removable, washable and replaceable. This comes in a Type 1 and full brim version as well.
