Dantatec Launches New WHMIS Product Line in Style

CALGARY, AB — The stage is set for the launch of Danatec Educational Services new product line for WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), taking place at the Calgary head office on Thursday, October 18.

The guest list includes a whos who of the Alberta safety industry, along with representatives from some of Calgarys top companies.

Also in attendance will be Spencer Beach and Barry Weatherall, two of the stars from Danatecs groundbreaking DVD, WHMIS Tell Me Your Story.

This video, the centerpiece of the new WHMIS line, explores lessons in workplace safety through the stories of Spencer, Barry and four other people who have experienced first-hand the consequences of not following WHMIS guidelines.

Marilyn Bright, lead developer of the WHMIS suite, states, This video will change the way that WHMIS is taught. Tell Me Your Story is already making an impact on industry professionals. Following a recent advance screening, D. Armstrong, Supervisor and WHMIS Instructor at AAE Ltd., wrote, Robs story is down to earth hits home with a gentle hammer.

The new Danatec product line is designed to meet the most up-to-date WHMIS standards and practices. Ronald Martin, President of Danatec, says, These completely new WHMIS educational tools will set the standard in the safety training industry.

Danatec is also offering a GHS Guarantee on all of their new WHMIS materials, assuring customers that if Canada changes the WHMIS rules to comply with the Globally Harmonized System within the next couple of years, Danatec will replace the product with updated materials.
